Just a minutes’ walk from the golden sands of Pauanui Beach, Ocean Breeze Resort boasts a seasonal outdoor pool and a steamy hot tub. Very nice stay. I don’t think there was one thing the apartment didn’t have! Hosts were lovely and very helpful indeed. Very close to the beach for nice walk. There isn’t too much in town (if you don’t get your food by 8pm you’re not eating anything) but the apartment had a great BBQ so the best thing to do is bring your food and drink and cook it there. We did that and it was great. Would definitely go back again!

Waterfront Apartments Whitianga has commanding sea views for all apartments and is located opposite Buffalo Beach. Wow what a great property the best of our trip so far and I can’t see any property being better. Check in was nice and smooth with some great recommendations, the apartment was huge with everything you could ever think of wanting and more.

Located alongside the lovely Lake Taupo, Braxmere Lodge offers accommodation with a patio and lake views. Guests can request a BBQ and enjoy access to our boat ramp. Location although I miss the restaurant! That was great set an atmosphere also without it it's boring. The staff were every friendly and accommodating. Lovely!

Easy check-in via door pin code was great as we drove from Auckland.-Taupo and didn't arrive until 10.30 pm. Clean, spacious, comfortable, allocated off street parking, plenty of utilities. Would definitely stay again.
