Be aware though, if you have a very big car, could be challenging to park it there. A very friendly and warm welcome. Staff explained a lot about the hotel and surroundings. Room was like a studio. Kitchen with a small dining table, living/bedroom and bathroom. Comfy beds with separate sheets. Closet. Dining table with two chairs. Enough equipment to make dinner, so more than enough for a simple breakfast. Nice shower and clean bathroom.

Friendly and helpful staff, rooms cleaned daily if you wished. Excellent location, walking distance to beach and shops/restaurants. Perfect, clean facilities and lovely pool and outdoor area. Would recommend and hope to be back!

Bright studios, with and without balcony, at Aparthotel Vila Luz are air conditioned and functional. There is a kitchenette with dining area, satellite TV channels and some accommodation opens out onto panoramic balconies. Calming place. Not crowded in July. A few families enjoying only. Well equipped studio. Bar services very good and open until 9pm. Great view of the sea. Bar and cleaning staff friendly. Great breakfast basket for those who will check out earlier.

Complimentary WiFi is offered throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The aparthotel has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Spotlessly clean (Thank you Rosangela who does an amazing job!) with lovely furnishings. A really secure complex that felt out of the main town but was only a short walk away with easy access to the train station, bus station and boat rides.

The property offers self-catering studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, some including a terrace and/or balcony with sea or city views. There is a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hairdryer in every unit, and linen and towels are provided. The Salty Lodge has a great location, in the middle of this busy little town, but surprisingly quiet at night (especially in the less busy season when we travelled, although it was Easter week). The accommodation was exceptionally clean and the balcony was a fabulous part of our stay at the Salty Lodge (we were in Apartment 4A) - with views out to sea and over the rooves of the old town. We would most certainly stay here again, if we were to visit Lagos, which was also an excellent base for a variety of coastal walks. Lovely staff and a great roof-top 'chill-out' space too.
