This property is an apartment and since I was busy sightseeing most of the time I was in Broken Hill, I wasn't really able to take advantage of all the amenities---a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The location was great--just a couple of blocks from the downtown area and the train station which was where I left the city from. The bus station and visitor's information center were both approximately a kilometer away. I arrived rather late (approximately 9:30 PM) but the town was quiet and I felt quite safe, walking to the property. I had talked with the managers of the property and they had given me specific instructions on obtaining the keys, etc. and I had no problems.

This is a beautifully refurbished apartment style unit. We liked the location (a couple of klm out of town) as it was extremely quiet during the night - no noisy people or vehicles and there was a delicatessen across the road. Under cover parking was an added bonus. The unit was extremely clean and well furnished and the bed very comfortable. It was an excellent choice for our five night stay. We had a small problem on arrival but Matthew was just a phone call away and it was resolved within 15 minutes. Excellent service. The loaf of fresh bread, jams, spreads, erc. were a pleasant and welcome surprise.
