Upon entry the reception staff were welcoming and informative regarding their hotel and its facilities & surroundings. There was stairs and a lift to access the rooms and a baggage trolley for use if necessary. The room was very well appointed and was clean and neat with no signs of wear and tear on furnishings, floors or bathroom. The room was quiet and there was no transfer of noise from other rooms. The room's balcony allowed for fresh air circulation and a lovely place to sit outside. Staff were very accommodating in our request for lower height pillows and additional linen when needed. Our room was made up daily and consumables were replaced eg: shampoo/conditioner, dishwasher powder, coffee/tea etc. The location is fantastic allowing easy walking access to main streets, bus & light rail transport options, food & groceries/restaurants/ shopping complex, petrol station, recreation areas and walking paths/lake. For those that require it, there are Halal grocery/butcher shops and a mosque within walking distance of the accommodation.

This was one of the BEST places I have ever stayed at (and I have stayed at hundreds). I don’t know where to start … the owners are just so super lovely. We had a blackout one night, and the owner came to check on me that I was okay and offered candles. The unit is brand new and has been thoughtfully kitted out with anything you could possibly need. It is decorated like a display home and has all those beautiful little touches you wont find anywhere else. I stayed for 6 nights and absolutely loved it and has been a highlight of my 4 month trip around Australia. Its situated on the outskirts of gorgeous Canberra but I quite enjoyed the drive in everyday, rather than staying in the city centre.
