I was initially looking for places to stay in Lucerne, but ended up finding Elisabeth and Felix’s place in Emmetten and I am so thankful we did! Lucerne is a bustling beautiful city, but Emmetten, just 15 min car ride away is a small, quaint mountain without the crowds and with incredible views of the lake (in my opinion even better than Lucerne). We only were only able to stay two nights, but wish we could have stayed many more to try more hikes and mountain biking. It was very easy for us to do a day trip into Lucerne on our way out do town. You also must try Susi’s pizza- just a 5 min walk away. The place was impeccably clean and Elizabeth and Felix were prompt and dependable hosts. We traveled with our 18 month old son and had no issues. Honestly if you want to see Lucerne but stay somewhere more affordable with better views, this is the place!

It was a different experience; a very pleasant one. Truely a peaceful place in a nice spot, overlooking the lake, the tips of the mountains, and the Swiss wide green fields. Hospitality of Flo and Svetlana made it feel like home and was second to none in the sense that it was simple, natural, genuine and truely caring, taking the experience to another level. Also, if it happens that you love paragliding: FlyWithFlo.

The flat was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The flat is located in such a pretty village, we enjoyed the terrace and view from the apartment. The owner was kind and nice and showed us around the flat well. He also mentioned any issues the flat had.

Elisabeth was a great host! The location was awesome and close to everything we had in mind to do. The apartment had everything we needed and more. It was very kid friendly and my children loved the fact that there were toys for them to play with. The kitchen was provided with all sorts of appliances. There was a drying rack available and the bathroom also had a kid stool. The livingroom was very large and the view from the patio was lovely!

Studio was small but we had everything what we need. Property managers Elisabeth and Felix were excellent. When we come next time we probably book the bigger apartment.
