It was no problem to check in early, even though she had a really busy day. She made everything work for me. The apartment is very big and the price is incredible. She told me, she would want to find something similar in other countries if she travels, so she wants to offer something nice for low budget travelers here as well. So sweet. Shower is great. The room was basic but ok for a short stay and it was clean. The pool was nice, breakfast was ok (the staff was very kind and making sure our kids were happy). And we saw quite a lot of nice frogs at the property.

The location is remote with not much near that you can walk to but we had a rental car so it worked for us. We prefer to stay in areas that aren't too touristy or busy and this place is perfect for that.

We took the most of our short stay, walked the trails, took the guided night walk and some of us took the chocolate tour in the morning. Knowledgeable guides, wonderful forest, saw amphibians, birds, iguanas, sloths. A place to come back to.

Lots of beautiful birds, hummingbirds feeding a few feet from our terrace. Lovely food, lovely friendly hostess. Off the beaten track, but Interbus will take you there on the Caribbean to Fortuna route if you are not hiring a car. Well worth the effort.

From the moment you wake up, you know you’ll be surrounded by wildlife. Breakfast and restaurant/bar area very pleasant and staff all very accommodating.
