We really enjoyed our stay at the Schlafstube. We had the Sonnentraum room and it was really nicely decorated and had indeed a "sunny" feeling to it. You could really notice the love and passion the owner has for this place! The contact with the owner was also really great and it was super easy to pick up the keys from the lock box and get into the room! We will definitely come back if we are in Bamberg again!

The apartment is very spacious, immaculately clean, and has a well appointed kitchen. It is only a short walk to the magnificent cathedral and is close to restaurants and to the shopping area. Johannes was a wonderful host; he answered all our questions promptly. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wishes to visit Bamberg.

The location was perfect. The bed was so comfy. Jorg was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with (we only speak English). I'm only disappointed we didn't plan to stay longer! A really comfortable respite after a day exploring a fun, gorgeous city. Would recommend this to anyone! It was probably our best stay during our entire Germany trip.

Bamberg old town is just 10 mins away by car or 2km walking distance, so it gives you easy access yet give you peace and quiet in a super comfortable penthouse! I can perfectly imagine though that people can spend a longer period. The apartment is well-designed and is of very good quality. The kitchen is well supplied and both kitchen and bathroom are very clean.

There was a separate loft area where the kids slept and had their own space to watch tv, etc. The room felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. Also had air conditioning which made stay comfortable in June. Close walking distance to main attractions in city. Perfect fit for our family of four.
