The location is on the other side of the river, but it’s a short, lovely walk to all things in the old town. It was a wonderful place to retire after long days of hiking. The property was spotless and very comfortable. The living room was large as was the bathroom and all the bedrooms were a comfortable size. Our hosts were wonderful. We opted to go out for coffee each more even though options were available because there was a nice bakery nearby. Numerous restaurants were all a very short walking distance.

Edmund was a super friendly host, and the room was spacious and clean. The bed and shower were great and we had a wonderful sleep. The apartment is very close walking to town, and ,cochem is just adorable. We would definitely stay here again. It's an old house as you can see from the photos, but it's immaculately kept and is better than its photos show. The free parking in the secure garage underneath was a huge bonus.

We loved everything about this location. It was a very enjoyable 20-25 min walk along the river from the main town with a supermarket and lovely bakery very close by. The apartment was fantastic. It was a very enjoyable 20-25 min walk along the river from the main town with a supermarket and lovely bakery very close by. The apartment was fantastic. Everything you could need.plus beautiful surroundings. And cochem itself might be one of our new favourite places. Beautiful, relaxed and friendly. Thanks so much for letting us experience this in your lovely holiday home.

The place is really close to the city center - 5min walking and aprox. 15min walking to the castle. The facilities are as advertised more or less but it could be improved overall, the small basics (hand soap, paper towels...) are missing and it makes a difference when you have an apartment for a few days.
