The location was fabulous. Even though it was across the street from the train station, it was very quiet. It‘s above a bakery and we woke up every morning to a wonderful aroma. The location is fantastic - right on the main street (above a nice restaurant, which closes at 10 so it's not noisy), only 10 minutes walk to the S-Bahn station (12 minute ride into Freiburg). The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. It's much bigger than it looks in the pictures, and very smartly done up (very IKEA, modern and comfy). The master bedroom is a duplex attic room and is enormous, with a gorgeous view from the little balcony. The bathroom is excellent with a really good shower! Kirchzarten is a very pretty little village with really nice bakeries and good shops (Beckesepp little supermarket just next door, but there's a bigger one around the corner, and ALDI, etc.) We rented e-bikes from Wunderle.
