the apartment was exactly as advertised and very clean with all the necessary amenities and a fully equipped kitchen. the apartment is very kid-friendly with two bunkbeds which our kids loved to play on. Also a highchair and a baby bed was available. Check-in was very simple even for us since we arrived quite late. The kind hosts left a nice welcome package that included things to do in the area.

The only minor inconvenience was the absence of sugar, not a big deal we bought it next day. While the apartment is a bit distant for those arriving by train, it is still manageable.

Currently writing this while lying in my bathrobe in an oversized bed in a posh place and i wish i was back at Obersteinberghof. Whether it is the view, the cozy ‘home away from home’ feel, or the genuineness and simplicity of the host and the place - i cannot pinpoint. However, it has been the highlight of our trip! Very much recommended!
