Very friendly and responsive host. Extra childbed was provided proactively. Very clean and well equipped apartment. Parking nearby was not an issue. Would stay there another time and can definitely recommend it. Super vacation in a great location and apartment.

The accomodation has beautiful terrace, its very spacious. There is sitting under the roof and also bar chairs, with sunbeds on the other side of terrace. Apartment is small, but cosy with kitchen and appliacies you need. Bed is comfy and apartment was perfectly cleaned. We recommend to have a walk to the Alcala natural pools and beaches 15 minutes of walk from apartment, this is great especially if you dont want to drive and search for free parking space, which is always challenge on Tenerife.

Brand new apartament in a residecial area. It was extremly clean and well equiped. In the kitchen there were planty of things - from disches, machines and even basic things like oil, salt, teas, etc. The owner was very kind and responded to all our querries poitive. There is a nice flat 4k TV, with netflix. The location is also good, close to main street,but in the back. Beach is also close, but you need to descent, so not easy for people with reduced mobility. View on the walk to playa La Arena are great.

"Tortuga's Mood" is a lovely apartment on the ground floor of a house in a quiet street in the pleasant seaside town of Alcala. We were travelling by public transport (the TITSA bus service),and found that the bus stop was only a few minutes' walk from the apartment. Also, the apartment is only a few minutes walk from the sea-front, the town square, and many excellent bars and restaurants ( it's advisable to book a day ahead for some of these. as they are very popular!) Our hosts, Francesco and Morena, met us on arrival (they live upstairs, and were easily contactable if we had any queries). We found the apartment really well-equipped and comfortable.We always felt safe and secure there (we are, I suppose, classed as an "elderly" couple!) and we relished the peace and quiet, after spending a few nights in a rather noisy hotel in Puerto de la Cruz. One of the many "extras" provided by Francesco and Morena was a "beach-bag" with beach-towels, which we made good use of on the lovely La Jaquita Beach on several occasions. Alcala is a delightful resort, with plenty to do, but not too "touristy", and we were also able to walk along the beautiful coastline to the neighbouring resorts of Los Gigantes and San Juan. Our week in "Tortuga's Mood" was a very happy experience - well recommended!

It is spotless, with plenty room. The balcony enjoys the evening sunshine. Communication was easy and helpful. We visited in February and the ceiling fan was perfectly adequate.

The apartment is ideally located for the harbour and market square. The apartment has everything needed to facilitate self catering including a washing machine We would book this apartment again.

The flat is, well-equipped, and situated in a small and charming village. It is not very touristic so you have more local restaurants. You can walk to the sea where you have a direct swimming possibility 200 metres from the flat. Playa la jaquita is more comfortable (around 1 km). I highly recommend it for a luxurious and comfortable stay.
