Location is excellent, just a short walk from the centre of the old town. The appartment is pleasantly arranged and decorated and seems to be equipped with everything you might need (we didn't really use the kitchen other than to make coffee as we had all our meals out). Also we were able to park in the owners private parking for 5€ per night.

Le Grenier du Chapitre is in the oldest and best part of Sarlat, city parking lot, shopping and restaurants all near by, inside the apartment feels roomy and laid out nicely, modern appliances like coffee maker, stove, washing machine all working perfectly, inside the apartment, structure of building and surrounding area all full of charm. Tourist office and main church is right around the corner, where the famous twice a week morning market takes place, local farms sell incredible high quality farm products, which we love to bring back to apartment to cook. Dordogne is a very special area, Sarlat makes the best home base for travelers, we are so glad booking early to stay 5 nights in Le Grenier du Chapitre.

Full kitchen diner, good size sitting area, two sufficient sized private terraces (one facing north and one south). Washing machine and an iron. Drying rack. Hanging space. Full length mirror. Bedroom and ensuite were decent size and bed was comfortable. Tv with lots of channels. Air conditioning in both bedroom and living space was welcome as it hit 40 degrees. Well located 5 minutes walk from old city.

The two bedrooms were a good size with room for hanging clothes and large windows that opened onto the street one floor below. The apartment included comfortable chesterfield, soft footstools and coffee tables; kitchen chairs for eating around the counter; good lighting throughout; modern kitchen appliances. The location was close to the centre of town for exploring by walking and within a 30 minutes walk for bike rentals.SandraGroup

The whole place was just perfect for what we wanted: unbeatable location to the old centre (yet so quiet!), loads of character, well equipped, spotlessly clean, flexible space for privacy and being together, and great communication. We had a lovely welcome and Niyada who took great care of us, and we could not have been happier with our accommodation choice to enjoy gorgeous Sarlat.

We had such a friendly and helpful welcome, and we all loved the old building charm of the place with all the mod cons necessary - not to mention the fabulous views everywhere. It was easy to park in the free parking about a 5 minute walk away, then explore Sarlat on foot. Even though we were right in the middle of town, the rooms were lovely and quiet.LorinaGroup

She spent many many hours during our two day stay helping us with our major problem. The location of the apartment is excellent if you have a car.
