My wife and I love the village so it was great to find a new place to stay. It was great to have The Cartshed Tea Room downstairs which is another asset to the village.

We had dinner at the Dabbling Duck pub opposite, breakfast at Whittles in Castle Acre followed by a walk around the castle ruins, afternoon tea at the Cartshed ( below apartment) and breakfast there the next day. We also had a lovely walk around West Acre gardens, nursery and cafe. Finished with a drive to the coast.

Very good value for money in the area.
