The pub itself is highly recommended with a good selection of beers and a hearty meal. Mandy the owner provided tea, coffee milk etc. plus a selection of breakfast cereals and snacks for the next day which was unexpected but much appreciated thank you.

We had a whole apartment with kitchen which was excellent. It was spacious and very comfortable. The location was at easy distance of Hadrian’s Wall. Also a walk away from a known supermarket and petrol station.
