the issue was with the booking.com communication system, i kept getting messages two days late, so while our host sent the information for the lockbox we didn't get it until a day after our check in. Thankfully, our host was amazing and answered our call, giving us the information for the lockbox so we could check in easily.

This is a real gem of an apartment, quirky, classy and well positioned right in the heart of skipton. It has the wow factor when you walk in, tastefully decorated, cosy with a large comfy social space. The view from the window takes in the hustle and bustle of the main street below, framed by a backdrop rolling hills. The owners have thought of everything, make up remover wipes, toiletries, bread, cereal, orange juice, store cupboard essentials....you need arrive with very little. We stayed at the end of November and the Christmas decorations were up which added an extra sparkle.

We enjoyed the living area in the room with a small sofa and chair. With the addition of a mini-fridge, it could have felt like a studio apartment/flat. The host gave a warm welcome and got us set up with parking. She also gave us an overview of the area and made recommendations for dining. The parking worked out great as it was only a block away and was easily accessed when we needed it.
