I loved the tranquility and the absolute comfort of the place. You wake up to birdsong and walk outside to these painterly hills and little lambs hopping around in the fields. The hosts Lisa and Paul are incredibly friendly. They have excellent tips for local activities and showed us around the farm. The accommodation itself faces the hills and provides fantastic sunset views. It is very clean, comfortable, and provides you with all the utilities you might need (and then some). The name is apt: hillside haven.

The apartment was lovely. The owners had clearly put a lot of care into providing everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lovely welcome tray with tea, coffee and sugar and biscuits and chocolate, fresh milk/ water in the fridge. We didn't cook but good that they had thought to provide salt, pepper, oil if we had wanted to cook. Good off road parking.

I can't explain how perfect it was, from the details to the decor it was amazing. Easy check in and check out, beautiful views. Emily and Rob were amazing and left us an anniversary card (thank you). Emily went to buy us some gifts I asked for and paid for with no hesitation. It was so quite, maybe too quite if your not use to it but it was lovely. It wasn't far from the centre and taxis were available if you didn't want to walk up and down the hill (it nearly killed me walking up it). We even got some free proper milk in the fridge.
