this is the greatest guesthouse i had stayed in iceland for this trip. the room is super, clean and big, furnitures are brand new and the bed is quite confortable. we enjoy the big table for dinner and breakfast. quick and easy check in. nice but simple yard with desk and table for sunshine and afternoon tea.

    Lovely guesthouse fully conceived and built by the host Ragnar, whom we appreciated chatting with and that prepared a very nice breakfast. Cosy apartment, with a beautiful view, and fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. we enjoyed walking in the surroundings, around the ‘red chair’ made by Ragnar, local attraction that you can spot from the road.

    Ragnar is a wonderful host, everything was just perfect. The apartment is lovely, with great view and fully equipped. It's very quiet and peaceful. Ragnar serves great breakfast. One of our best stays in Iceland!

    The apartment was clean and cozy with exceptional water and mountain views. The host prepared a full breakfast each morning of our stay. This is a great place to stay on either a tour around the ring road or as the turn around point for a tour of southeastern Iceland.

    Excellent location, great for exploring, good proximity to Hofn for groceries and dining. Breakfast was excellent, adorable cozy apartment and breakfast room. Breakfast was prepared with care and plentiful.

    He was very flexible with check in time. We arrived late (around 2300) and he was awake and immediately at the door to show me where to go. The driveway was well lit. Breakfast was super nice and the apartment was squeaky clean. Like for real clean. Lots of electric outlets. Walking distance to a waterfall. You’re the hostest with the mostest Ragnar!

    The host Ragnar was very welcoming and accommodating. The property is on his family farm and he fixed it up himself. It's very well done. It was extremely clean. He was very gracious and helpful - letting us use his own washing machine, etc. The view is spectacular.
