What a fantastic place to be! During the first half of the 2000s, one of us, Klara, travelled to every continent, covering almost half the world, and have stayed in numerous places and met countless hosts, but Sarah and Mark are definitely at the top of the list! We arrived with our 15-year-old rescue dog and received the warmest welcome. Not only were we offered chilled prosecco, but we were also treated to Mark's delicious homemade bread, Sarah's dreamy and beautiful strawberry jam, and dog biscuits. Furthermore, Mark and Sarah's genuine enthusiasm and dedication immediately won us over. The place itself is a slice of paradise. The old houses have been carefully restored, the apartment tastefully furnished, the kitchen fully equipped, and everything was spotless. The garden is a haven, and sitting at the table in front of the apartment, sipping prosecco and admiring the beautiful scenery while listening to the birds singing, is pure bliss. We even discovered hidden little elf houses - perhaps Mark's work, although we didn't inquire. During our stay, Sarah and Mark surprised us with a delicious lemon cake, which not only looked amazing but was also moist, delicious, and divine. And we mustn't forget the four-legged treasure of The Hideaway - Maya, the shy and beautiful rescued dog who stole our hearts. All in all, this place is an earthly paradise, and a part of our soul remains there. We will undoubtedly return in - probably one autumn when we imagine the nature surrounding the site will be painted in a million colours.
