Definitely the VIEW!!! Fantastic place to stay outside of Siena! Glad we opted to stay outside the city and enjoy this PERFECT apartment on the hill! The place itself is huge and perfect for our family of 5. We had to cut our stay 1 day short due to the train strike, but wish we could've stayed longer to soak in the view and get used to Tuscan living! We will definitely be back here next time we find ourselves in Italy! Our hosts, Silvano and his wife, were very accommodating and helpful! We even got info on when the horses are passing by the apartment so we can watch them on the go! Kids had a blast with that! We even got a delicious breakfast loaf as we are leaving in the morning! Grazie!!!

The place is beautiful and the apartment was huge. We arrived late so Simonetta sent us a very helpful video to find the entry and our apartment. They let us a welcome wine bottle from their own production, it was delicious and a very nice gesture. Everybody was nice at the reception and the restaurant. Go and enjoy the beautiful Toscana.

Where do I start!? When we arrived at the automatic gate, there were quite a number of cars parked along the roadside. This was typical of the 6 days and nights we spent here. Well, they were there to photograph the most beautiful cypress treed twisting road and beautiful buildings in the most perfect setting in Toscana. And there were many many people on the hillside to watch the most incredible sunsets. The people are far away from the property and the property is very private. Our apartment was large with everything needed to spend as long as you wanted. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all perfect and spotlessly clean. Lots of hot water, dishwasher and washing machine. We had a private covered outside area with table and chairs, and a small BBQ. We sipped wine watching the sun go down. The garden area is huge and immaculately kept. The pool!!! The pool was something out of Home and Garden (as was the whole place). It is a large indoor/outdoor pool building with a huge opening doors and retractable roof with the most stunning view. Spectacular. There is a well stocked supermarket a short drive away, and lots of places for day drives and wine tasting. Sienna is approximately 45 minutes away. The owners and staff are absolutely *lovely!* They made us very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. We highly recommend Baccoleno, we will definitely return, and soon. If there's a Heaven on Earth, I think we just found it.

if you are looking for an authentic villa up in the hills away from the crowds this could be what you are looking for! This is a quiet location away from the humdrum of city life! The two bedrooms with 2 bathrooms worked very well for us and our friends. it does have a pool and hot tub though both are a little old and worn but it’s lovely to sit in the hot tub at night looking over the valley! There is a lockable gate which makes you feel very safe and secure.

If you are looking for an authentic Tuscany experience then look no further. The staff and the owner are so nice and accommodating, and the location, for us, was perfect. The breakfast is home made with all locally sourced meats and cheese. We had one of the apartments with a small kitchen and loft. It really was amazing.
