The flat was not only nicer and more comfortable than described in the advertisement, but also the landlady was super friendly and even drove an hour earlier to hand over the keys than originally agreed. The town is beautiful and picturesque, with lots of Italian flair, and the neighbours are super friendly and always ready for a quick chat or tips. There are a few small shops, cafes/bars and a place with vending machines in the nearby area, so you are always well provided for. For larger shopping, however, there is the ARD discount store directly on the main street down by the train station (less than 5 minutes by car and 20 minutes on foot). So the location of the flat is ideal to use it as a starting point for hikes or excursions to the beach or other towns, but please note that if you don't like to walk, you should come by car, as there is only one bus daily from and to Lascari.

My husband and I stayed two nights. With a car the location is great because it’s only a couple miles from Cefalu but in a really quiet town. The instructions to find free street parking were easy to follow and we never had a problem with availability. The Wi-Fi was strong and the neighborhood super quiet at night (even on the weekend). I liked the interior of the room because it was very clean and has modern furnishings. A couple tips for future guests: In my opinion, this place should not be described as a Bed and Breakfast (there’s no breakfast or coffee) or an apartment (there’s no kitchenette or dining area). It’s more like a hotel suite - one room (plus bathroom) with a bed, bureau, sofa and desk. There’s a small fridge. The third key on the key chain is for the safe embedded in the wall. A fantastic local pub is in walking distance. It’s called Stai. Go for the craft cocktails!

The apartment was located on the ground floor with terrace. Parking was located next to the building. Everything clean, comfortable and cosy. Even the language barrier was not a problem, we could communicate through phone translators. Owners very kind and helpful. Beach is on 5 minutes walking distance (or even less) - not so occupied. Nice restaurant in the area. Worth to stay for much longer.
