The place is very cosy, specially the terrace which is i think the best part of the house because you can see all of Matino with all of his white houses, almost look like Greece (no surprises there because puglia was a greek colony). You can cook in the rooftop and eat while the fresh wind of the evening caress your skin, there was an electric grill for the barbecue but it wasn't working. We were welcomed with a Rosato wine from Salento, it was really good. The place is a lil bit tricky to find, mainly because of the very narrow ancient roads. So be careful if you have a car. The place is very near to notable historical place like Gallipoli, 23 minutes by car. And very near to some of the best beaches of puglia. We really had a comfortable stay at this place, i think we will comeback.

The apartment is spacious, well-equipped with a good bed and very efficient air conditioning. The bedroom in particular is very large with lovely furniture. Outside, there is a pleasant seating area and we had free run of the swimming pool complete with very comfortable pool lounger chairs. The area is quiet at night and provides good secure parking within the extensive grounds of the property.

We booked the junior suite and therefore had a whole apartment just for ourselves. The view from the living room and terrace is breathtaking! You should go there by car to explore Salento and all the beautiful places around Matino. After a day on tour (mostly at the beach) we loved coming home to have a perfect sunset view! It is located in the center of Matino, with grocery shops, restaurants, and other amenities close to the apartment. It was pretty easy to park the car close to the apartment. The owner was also quite nice! Always available for helping with information and tips.
