The hostess was exceptional in terms of service, friendliness and basically helped us out with anything and everything. The rooms and view was spectacular. Would definitely return and recommend a stay.

Casa Gilda Positano, apartment in Positano

The units come with tiled floors and feature a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a dining area, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, and a private bathroom with bidet and a hair dryer. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the apartment complex, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels.

The view was exceptional. Like nothing I’ve ever see. Before. The photos do not do this place justice! It is incredible beyond words, my partner and I agreed it was the best view of Positano and the ocean you could get in the entire city, and we visited some of the most highly rated restaurants with views and nothing compared to the view from Casa Gilda. Gilda is a beautiful woman who made us feel like family, her daughter who speaks English gave us great recommendations, helped us with bus tickets etc. Gilda cooked us a home made breakfast in the mornings on her terrace which was beautiful and was so lovely to us always! Further, the location is incredible and so much better than staying in town. There is a SITA bus stop 100m down the road which takes you anywhere along the Amalfi coast from Sorrento through to Amalfi town, stopping at beautiful beaches and restaurants along the way which was so convenient. Positano itself is a 10-15min walk along a beautiful coastal road. As well, there is a private walk past a gate from Casa Gilda which you are given keys for that takes you down to Arienzo beach which is amazing with a cute beach club as well. I could not recommend this place enough, they could charge 10x the price, and being on the cheaper side of accommodation in Positano I cannot believe the value for money. Already planning our next trip. Amazing. 11/10.

We loved this place! Francisco welcomed us in the best way possible - even though we had typed in a wrong arriving time on bookings.. The apartment was so clean and lovely. It is placed up high, so there is a great view over the city and the sea. Francisco was the best, he recommended both things to see, the best beach and restaurants to try, and every time we had a question, he replied on WhatsApp within teen minutes. He even made a booking on a restaurant for us, because we couldn’t get through. Thank you for a great stay!

We could not fault our stay. The location is incredibly central and for Positano was a very easy walk into town and only two small flights of stairs to accommodation. Compared to all other options this was very accessible. Martina was such a lovely host, very helpful and check in was easy. We were a group of 4 and the two rooms were each set up with a double room. It was plenty big enough, the bathroom was lovely and modern. The balcony is a show stopper and we loved having breakfast looking out over the water. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again.

Wow, where to start? I've been to a couple of places, but this one is probably the top one when talking about the sea. The view, so near to the sea, the balcony with a bathtub, the silence, the birds, and the sunrise, what an unforgettable experience. The host was wonderful, he left some pasta for us to cook, which was in itself an authentic experience, and all kinds of snacks. All in all, perfect! I have no other words to describe it.

    The apartment was roomy. Living areas downstairs and bedrooms up a flight of narrow stairs. The area had three marts close by so cooking at the flat was easy by these close by accommodations. The view of the mountain side homes lit up at night is spectacular. There is not a clear view of the Positano beach. But you can see the water off in the distance since you are elevated quite high.

    We had an amazing stay! The loft apartment was lovely and clean, and the view was out of this world. The staff were super informative about the area and gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. They even provided us with a map and explained clearly where everything was. They were all so warm and welcoming and happy to assist with everything, including organizing our travel to and from the location. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

    Beautiful property, location is perfect also! We were surprised to know we had an entire apartment to ourselves. Everything needed was there, even a washing machine which is great to have when travelling. Host was reliable and very friendly. Also flexible with our check in time. There was food & drinks in the fridge complimentary. Positano is a difficult place to access by car but the position of this property is perfect as it’s about 50 meters away from where most of the taxi’s/drivers drop travellers off. Highly recommend!

    If I was to go back to Positano, which I'll certainly do, I wouldn't book any other place. New modern apartment, easy access to the stairs that take you to the center, bus station and mini market.. Hosts were amazing, amicable and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much :)

    very spacious. we had the whole flat and we felt like home. the hosts were very friendly to welcome us. they were helpful all along from getting to the apartment, to getting around the town and the coast. there is also a balcony where we had our breakfast whilst enjoying the morning view of the sea and cliff.

    Location was great, just near the beach and all the restaurants, shops nearby. We had an entire apartment and was well kept and clean. Nice Bathrooms, Beds were very comfortable.

    Fabulous views and studio apartment. Breakfast items left, pastries, coffee, juice, water etc. a very nice touch and lovely to have on the terrace in the morning. Spotlessly clean too. We had to ring host when we arrived but someone met us at gate within few minutes.

    Casa Gilda has a gorgeous view of Positano. The bedroom is very spacious and the entire apartment is very clean. Antonella was very helpful in arranging taxi for us and readily available for any questions we had.
