A magical unique tree house with every possible modern convenience including a spacious bathroom, with an excellent shower and an efficient AC system. The fridge was fully stocked with provisions for breakfast & there was an excellent Nespresso coffee machine & a Microwave as well! We were also given a bottle of the excellent local wine. The access up the stairs was more than adequate & all but the infirm would get up easily. Our host, who didnt live on site, was brilliant at keeping in touch & making sure we had everything we needed. He said he didn't speak that much English but it was a huge improvement on our Italian!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Fausto's place in Torino di Sangro. The apartment looks very clean and new to me. It is close to the beach, next to the cycle green lane, and 6-min drive or 30 mins walk from the train station of Fossacesia. Fausto is an excellent host. He speaks good English and contacted me prior to my arrival, providing me with the suggestions for places to visit and eat. He was extremely kind to pick me up from the train station, allowing me an early check-in, and drove me to the bike rental shop and acted as translator for me. I will be happily going back to stay with me whenever I return to the area.

The property is new well designed holiday house. You cross the main road SS16 and follow the path through the field and walk down across the cycle path to get to the managed sandy beach. There are lots of other beaches (managed and wild) nearby. The beaches are mainly stoney. The staff at the Le Morge camping village where we collected the keys from were lovely. With limited language and google translate we were able to communicate and make friends. The ouside furniture at the house: sunbeds, arm chairs, bbq and table & chairs under a canopy meant it was nice to eat, drink and chat outside. The cream filled croissants (cornettos) from Pasticceria Linda e Donatella (13 minutes away by car) are amazing. Either go out for breakfast or bring some home. The weather in May was good: sunshine, 26C, the sea was warm 21 and the area was empty because it is not warm enough for the Italians to go on holiday but was brilliant for British people who have lower expectations.

Close to the pebble beach and ideally situated to get to the war grave cemetery we were visiting. A spotless, well equipped apartment. A breakfast selection was also provided for our stay. There is a cycle/walking track in front of the apartment and cycle hire nearby. Fausto was a friendly host. Would definitely stay in this apartment again next time we visit.
