We are a family of 5 (all adults) and stayed for 4 nights. The house has 2 small IH stove, microwave, fridge, toaster oven and kettle. We had a good time cooking, even though the cooking equipment are a bit small to cook for 5 people. I think the house was previously a hostel so the common area is very spacious with high ceiling, which we like. The house is also very clean with comfy beds. The host is very friendly and helpful. She recommended a lot of restaurants, bakery and coffee shop for us.

Since it's an apartment, your level of comfort in terms of sound largely depends on your neighbors. The location is within walking distance to Kumamoto Castle and the shopping district. Simple and fuss free as long as you follow the instructions. The room is a studio-apartment which an interesting layout of two stories. Spacious and all necessary amenities were provided. Do note that there are stairs so those with huge or heavy luggage may want to be careful.
