So nice to stay in a comfy self catering place after a couple of days in hotels. We could braai, they did our laundry and Michell communicated via WhatsApp with us and gave us nice tips where to go etc. Very nice place all-in-all.

Thys's Kombuis is a real gem. We loved the genuine farmer hospitality and generosity and our self catering cottage with a basic kitchen. We enjoyed the dinner provided, and the sociality. Located in a fascinating valley in the beautiful Kammiesberg, it is quirky, authentic and full of animals. A place to return to.
