Perfect view out of the windows to see the hillsides with cows and sheep. The hosts' dog would come by regularly to check and make sure we were doing alright - very friendly little "Doggie". Perfect location for viewing the night sky and stars. Host left us with freshly baked scones for our arrival which were greatly enjoyed.

Great location, right in the Centre of Clifden, walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants. A nice touch upon arrival having teabags, coffee, milk and tea cakes left out. Even fresh flowers left on the table! Great communication with host 😊

It was spacious and beautifully furnished with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a sitting room, and kitchen. The view was gorgeous. Although Cleggan is fairly remote, it was serene, beautiful and the people were engaging. We ate at Oliver's in the village both nights and the food was delicious. This was one of our very favorite accommodations during our stay in Ireland. *Drop Anchor is fairly close to Kylemore Abbey and Killary Sheep Farm, both worth visiting.
