Located in Tērvete in the Zemgale region, next to Tērvete National Park, Pālena apartamenti features a garden. Housed in a building dating from 1905, the apartment is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as skiing and cycling. Very nice accommodation in an old historic manor house surrounded by a beautiful flower garden. Local people also live there. So we had the opportunity to enjoy authentic village life, while the apartments had all the modern comforts. It was also a very quiet place. We had booked two apartments for four adults and two children. The bigger apartment has a view and an exit to a large park, where the children had enough space to play and run. The smaller apartment is also nice and comes with a small sitting area in the back garden. Nearby is the excellent Tervete children's park, castle hill and lake, and a horse breeding farm. The hostess was very helpful and told us about the fascinating history of the manor and the village. I definitely recommend this place and Tervete village, there are many exciting activities for both children and adults.
