This hotel was one of the nicest, if not the nicest, hotels I have stayed at in Terceira. I have been traveling to Terceira for years and have never stayed in a hotel like The Shipyard. It is brand new and everything inside and outside was done tastefully and modern. If you are not familiar with Terceira, it is incredibly humid. It is very common to smell or see mold when entering buildings or houses. This hotel is very well cared for, there were no signs of mold and our apartments were kept very clean the entire stay. The breakfast was lovely, the best pastel de natas I've had from Terceira.

Clean, ample towels, everything working (expt. the TV, but this was probably due to finger trouble on my side).

The location is great, close to the beach. Praia is well connected by bus to go to the airport or around the island. The apartment is clean and very well equipped. There is even a washing machine and dryer. The bed is comfortable. We had a great stay! Thanks a lot!

It was a perfect combination of everything we were trying to accomplish and more.The apartments were well equipped, well decorated, and comfortable. Mr. Vasco was very friendly, helped us throughout our stay, and made it even better than we anticipated. I also recommend the wine tour. We did it and were surprised how much we were able to learn from it. We will be going back .

Paula is an excellent hostess. She is very friendly, kind and helpful with everything including airport transfer and car rental. Super neat, clean, cozy, comfortable apartment with everything you need for your stay. Small welcome basket is waiting for you. Very quite neighborhood, not a noisy airport. Bed was very comfortable slept well. WIFI is excellent. Would definitely stay again and recommend this place.
