The kids loved the pool. And we the parents were enjoying drinks at the tables facing the pool. There is a large open-space kitchen that you can do some little cooking with big shared fridge. A friendly cat rubs against your feet. The owner is very nice and accommodating.

A property manager handed over the keys and gave us a quick run-through/tour. This place is brand new (August '23), very comfortable, modern and pretty! One of the rooms has an ocean view and en-suite bathroom, the other two bedrooms has a room on the opposite side of the apartment (no view) and was very comfortable. Nice closets and spacious rooms. Kitchen was great and we cooked a couple of meals. Basic appliances, pots and pans, utensils, cutlery and blender, which we used a ton to make fresh juices and frozen drinks. The freezer worked super, the fridge worked ok (It ran louder than any fridge I've ever heard before, but not annoying). Renters should buy their own salt, sugar, olive oil, etc... The beach was just a two minute walk away from the apartment- you can see it from the room- and there are tons of palapas, some with thatched roofs, but NO chairs. The bathrooms were very nice and clean, showers had great pressure and were hot (electric/"suicide" showers) and the towels adequate. Living and dining area were very nice although the couch was not comfortable for watching TV (was very firm and made you sit totally upright- a few pillows from the bedrooms helped.) Nice kitchen table seated 6. Other than a few neighborhood barking dogs and some random woman yelling at her husband, the place was peaceful and quiet, and I could hear the ocean easily from the patio. A/C in every bedroom, and not in the main areas- but there's a constant sea breeze so we were comfortable especially if you crack the front door. Be aware- as in almost all beach apartments- the breeze can pull the door shut HARD and a child could easily lose a finger when it slams!! There were door stops at every door so a little bit of caution...and no worries! Secure, gated parking. The owner was very communicative, nice, spoke pretty good English and liked my ideas for improvement (below) so things should be a bit better for the next guests!

One of the BEST locations we have ever been! From Playas bus terminal it's a 15 minutes, 5$ taxi ride. Thus, no problems to get there. We took supplies from Playas with as there are no restaurants or shops around. We stayed in the flat . You see and hear the sea from the bed and have direct beach access. Hosts are super friendly. We can recommend the 2h hike along the sea to Playas. There's even a blue-footed booby (birds typically for Galapagos Islands) colony to be seen. Will come again :)
