We came to the Driftwood for one night and decided to stay an extra night. Our room was comfortable and it was not just a room. We had a seating area with a coffee maker/tea kettle and fridge. There were two TV's which we enjoyed as one was in the bed area and the other in the sitting area. The owner Padraigh was very welcoming and chatted about his establishment and how it was decorated by his wife. She really did a wonderful job and while it was modern it was cozy and comfortable from start to finish. We loved this establishment and wish it were closer to us. Thank you to Maria and Helena who took the best care of us and were so professional and welcoming and really knew what they were doing. Even though they were busy they stopped to check on our dinner and make sure we didn't need anything. Amazing staff all around.

The accommodation was self catering and had all the necessary equipment required for a short-term stay. It is located on the outskirts of Sligo Town but close enough to be able to walk to the center. It is very close to Sligo University Hospital and to the Atlantic Technological University. It is located within a student accommodation compound and as we were staying during the month of July it was very quiet as the students were on vacation. There There was an excellent Wi-fi connection and a secure car park available. The host, Aidan, was exceptional and very communicative throughout the booking process as well as during our stay and was very helpful. There was an excellent Wi-fi connection.
