When I saw the reviews I was curious because they were just too good. We still tried it for 3 nights and it was even better than we expected and even better than the reviews. It was one of the most wonderful places we have ever been. The room was amazing and had a wonderful big size. The food was delicious!! And I don’t even want to start at the lovely personal there. I cannot tell you how at home I felt with Samid. They made me feel comfortable since the first very beginning. When I got there they welcome me with a Papaya juice and a warm smile. The room was cleaned and the private bathroom as well. The fan is perfectly above the bed so no issue on sleeping even though when it’s hot outside. I couldn’t find any place for dinner around and they offer to cook dinner and breakfast for me at really cheap prices. I spent the whole evening with the family and I had great moments together with them. I went to Balapitiya to spend authentic time with locals and I think I succeeded in that. Thanks 🙏🏻

If you want to find a quiet place in a beautiful secluded area for a fair price, this is your stay! The room was good, ac also working and the shower functional. The staff was very friendly and helpfull and the area itself is beautifull. A quiet beach is on walking distance and you can watch the sun sink in the ocean from an extra terrace. Breakfast and dinner were nice as well. And as bonus, on arrival we got a tour of the surrounding area, beaches, even a little climbing tour over the rocks! Ask for neighbour Ravi ;) he will tell you everything about different fish, lobsters, oysters en the local life in that area!

Everything was perfect. When my wife made the booking, I didn't expect many facilities. I only agreed to stay only one night at Villa 45 because our main day was planned for the next day. After staying at Villa 45 I was so happy since it was worth it in every aspect. The caretaker of the property Mr. Raj was really helpful, and also the owner Mr. Nipun took care of everything we need. When I ask him to book a river safari boat he quickly arranged it for an affordable price. I must mention the 'Maadu' river safari was amazing. My overall experience was really awesome and I highly recommend Villa 45.
