So glad I found this place! Next time we come to the area, we’ll skip Patong and come straight here. Ko Racha Yai is less-developed and infinitely less crowded than any place on Phuket Island. For us, that was perfect. When you get to Ban Raya, it feels like you have the whole island to yourself. We liked everything about this place. First, it has outstanding customer service. The staff did everything possible to assure a perfect stay—especially a gent named Marboon. We picked a room near the ocean cove and the big infinity pool, which turned out to be ideal. Our bungalow had a large balcony. The main room was also large, as was the bed, as well as the bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable. Nice towels and bed sheets, and plenty of soft pillows. There’s great AC, a big TV, a sofa, and plenty of storage space. A large breakfast buffet was included and tasty, with good brewed coffee. The open-air restaurant offered excellent food for lunch and dinner. Ban Raya rents scooters and bicycles, and there’s a market and another restaurant short rides away. My girlfriend loved the on-site spa. Stay here. You’ll be glad you did.

Room and toilet were very big. Beds are soft. There is also sofa in the room. Pool was big, clean and very nice. Not much people at the pool, we were only quests there sometimes. Hotel has big property, it's nice to walk there at the evening. Hotel beach is very lovely and not crowded at all. Breakfast is very tasty, nice to eat by the sea :)

Great location, nice small beach with excellent snorkling. Colorful, amazing underwater life. Mask and snorkel could be used for free as a guest at Ban Raya. Fins or shoes could be rented for 100 baht. Staff was extremely sweet and accommodating, even playful. Everybody was so friendly. Room was ok value for the money.

Fifteen years later, I took my children to Emperor Island again and stayed at Banraya. The familiar sensory taste, charming scenery, and white sandy beach and clear water remain the same. The hotel's environmental style and public facilities are still perfect and well maintained. The facilities in the guest rooms are a bit outdated, but the hotel services still maintain a high standard and are warm and welcoming. However, considering the fact that there are mostly foreign customers, the friendly and friendly reception is still not enough.

The location is exceptional. We loved the island and we loved the beach! It was quiet and peaceful here. The food was quite tasty at the restaurant, but quite a bit pricier than high end hotels in phuket. Burgers were upwards of $20 Canadian, and salmon dishes or anything with prawns were $25+. The breakfast included with your stay each morning was quite nice though. We liked the feel of the resort and the layout, and we enjoyed the complimentary scuba gear and paddle boards on the beach. Staff were very friendly and nice

Beach Front, White Sand, Stunning Sunset, 2 nice pools. Lovely Staff, Nice food, Beautiful environment, We stayed in Jr Suite with Jacuzzi Pool, the pool is 3m x 5m, the Jacuzzi is super strong, and to my surprise, the pool is a HEATED POOL, you can adjust the temperature to your liking, and is easy to operate. I set it to cooler before we sleep and in the day time, We can enjoy the cold water, and set the temperature higher after our afternoon dip, so at night, we can have a Hot Bath / Spa before we sleep.

The hotel was excellent. It exceeded our expectations. We had been locked in for 2 years. We wanted to relax on the beach with our baby daughter which is exactly what we did. It had an exceptional beach, white sand and green transparent water. The staff was marvelous, super friendly and everyone knew our name. The food was also very good. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quite, serene location.
