Also that I could do laundry there, that a good variety of restaurants were so close--just down the main street, and that my hosts were so generous with their local knowledge. Thank you again for a lovely visit! I will happily stay there again!

The property, housed in a building dating from 19th century, is 4.3 km from Edinburgh Playhouse and 5 km from National Museum of Scotland. it was beautifully decorated and cozy. We loved the location and the layout of the apartment. Anne was also very responsive, friendly, and left great instructions for entering the property

We liked the lovely renovated cottage with the nice and accentuated furnishing, the Nespresso Coffee Machine and the 3min walk to the train station as well as the great location in East Lothian.

Royal Mile is 5.9 km from the guest house and Edinburgh Waverley station is 6.3 km away. Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

A wonderful hotel, staff were superb from arrival to departure, rooms are fabulous with luxurious beds and toiletries, clean towels every day whether needed or not. Only 10 mins walk from the hotel to a gorgeous sandy beach, and Gullane has a charming main street. We ate in the main restaurant and the food was amazing, and we used the main bar and the outside garden area and loved the service given and choice of food and drinks in both. Will definitely be back!

The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, 14 km from the property. Absolutely welcoming B&B, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lynne prepared an extensive breakfast with amazing handmade scones. The room was very nice and spatious. We wholeheartedly recommend to stay here and wish Lynne & Robert all the best for their upcoming renovation!

Many other nearby golf clubs can be reached within walking distance from the B&B. Fantastic host Heather made for a wonderful stay at Maple Cottage.
