I booked last minute as plans changed and absolutely loved Villa Sera. Mahan was so helpful and even the cleaner whose son was with her (even though he’s usually studying computer science at university) we’re so friendly. It took a bit to find at first but that’s the Old City and once I found it I found it easily again. Rooms aren’t large but well laid out and the bed was so comfy. I loved the mini Nespresso machine and the Green Tea with lemongrass was a great way to start my day. Also, there are sooo many street cats in Akko. Instead of souvenirs I was buying cat treats!

There is no breakfast but there is tea and coffee freely available and some delicious pastries to welcome us when we arrived tired and hungry. Staff are lovely and friendly and the ethos of the place with its emphasis on bringing people from different communities together is a bonus.

This was a really cute apartment, in a central location in Akko. The host, Omar, is incredible, and made our stay really easy... he even brought us coffee and breakfast on the first day! - The bedroom is a good size, has air conditioning, a hairdryer, a TV. The bed is really comfortable - Our apartment had an extra room with 2 extra beds (didn't use it). - A kitchen area with a table + air conditioning. You couldn't cook a meal in this kitchen, but there is crockery, cutlery, glasses, a fridge a sink and a microwave. There is also a nespresso-style coffee maker + kettle. - A bathroom with toilet, shower, washer + dryer. - A small communal outside area, with comfortable chairs. The location really couldn't be better, yet it was still very quiet. There is car parking nearby (2 mins walk), which can be challenging to find a space, but the host Omar will help you if necessary.

This is by far the most beautiful and unique place we have stayed for our vacation. We enjoyed it very much. It’s an amazing and lovely experience we will treasure for a long long time.
