It’s in a nice quiet part of town with a wonderful farm like feel to the place with fruit trees, walnuts, grapes and berries growing in the garden. Down the back they have chi Ken’s and rabbits. The room was pleasant, good air con, and very clean bathroom. And the included breakfast? Delicious!!!Aida (the mum) is an excellent cook. She even made me dinner both nights - also delicious. Jemma (her daughter) spoke excellent English and helped out when I had a problem locating the place. Ashot (her son) arrived the second day and was spent the afternoon chatting with me and other guests about history, food and wildlife. This is such a lovely place to spend one or many nights in. And the whole family are a delight.

Our hosts could not have been nicer nor more concerned about our comfort. Our room was huge and the bed was warm and comfy. The shared bath room down the hall off the terrace was immaculate and the water hot. Breakfast was served in the family kitchen which was very homey. The views were spectacular!

The breakfasts were really delicious with fresh ingredients. Yeghegnadzor is a great location. It’s close to the amazing Noravank Monastery and also the fascinating Areni 1 cave which is a must if you’re into ancient history. Hasmik’s husband took us to see many wonderful places. Breakfasts and dinners were outstanding (can also request packed lunch when going for hikes, worked out great for us). The location is in the hills above the main town and might seem remote, but there a small convenience store within walking distance. Karmen was a great host and we look forward to staying at GreenStone again during our next trip to the region.
