Some shops and restaurants close by and transport as well. Altmunster itself is a great place to be located, especially who likes a quiet environment.

Quiet also, we could only hear the sound of the stream below. We had a nice view of the mountains in the distance. There is a beautiful beach next to the lake with restaurants in the vicinity. Definitely worth a visit, it offers amazing views of the lake and mountains around. Basic continental breakfast is available at extra cost.

You can just walk down to the lake and if you would walk more, Gmunden and Grünberg are not so far away as well. The apartment is enough for a couple spend nights here, everything you need is there. The flat was absolutely clean, well equipped. You have your dedicated parking space which is nice that you don’t have to bother with that. We liked the “no contact” way of entering the property, it was pretty easy.BarbaraYoung couple
