We stayed at Thomson suite. When we opened the door, our jaws dropped. It was ten times more beautiful and quirky than we could ever imagine. It had a very artistic touch on everything and every corner, showing the very long history of the place as a foundry. Gorgeous brick walls exposed inside with outstanding skylight, windows, bar, pool, kitchen, woodburner fireplace and ... I was thinking of living there forever. Greg, the host, came to say hi, what a lovely man he is. He generously filled up the fridge for us, more than we could ever eat.

The owners made such a wonderful effort to make it feel Christmasy including a lovely card. Beautifully set up and a really lovely space. The couple were delightful and their dear little goats were gorgeous. I would definitely stay again if we were passing through.

We spent a lot of time on the back deck, eating all of our meals there. And on a beautiful street of old homes.

It was like a private Quilt Show. We enjoyed the sunset on a balmy evening with the heady scent from the jasmine creeper wafting over us.
