Built in 1866, Greenock's Old Telegraph Station offers a self-contained cottage with a spa bath, a fireplace and a private patio. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi and access to BBQ facilities.

The air-conditioned cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a stove and a microwave. It has a washing machine and a separate living area with a TV, a DVD player and an iPod docking station.

The cottage was lovely and comfortable with many little extras. It was an extremely hot day and when we got there the house was lovely and cool as the air conditioner had been switched on in preparation for our arrival. The garden was also lovely with a number of different areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Breakfast provisions were ample and delicious. We really appreciate the owners doing single night stays as we were touring on bicycles and it can often be difficult to find B and B's that will do a single night.

We arrived on a 40 degree day and we met by a beautifully cooled cottage that provided much needed respite! We instantly cracked the wine and got stuck into the cheese platter which was the perfect way to instantly unwind. The cottage is immaculate with such an attention to detail. Thoughtfully decorated, it was both charming and so comfortable.

The location was perfect for enjoying a we walk to many local wineries and tastings. Other towns and wineries were all easy driving. The quiet and very private location was amazing with only rabbits, many native birds and the odd kangaroos to break the silence. The hosts take time to get to understand your needs before and set up things and provide great ideas for your stay. The villas are super comfy and clean, with everything you will need and much more besides.
