Everything was absolutely amazing. The host is incredibly kind and accomodating, allowing maximum flexibility for travel arrangements (you can use facilities, etc. even after check out). The facility itself is top notch (incredibly clean, big kitchen and livingroom, amazing garden full of plants overlooking the village of samaipata). Couldn't believe our eyes, for the asking price. The location is just outside the village, allowing for stellar sunset views from the garden and at the same time it is not too far away to reach by foot (5min walk). You can also buy some things at the hostel, in case you don't want to make the extra trip. Overall this was no doubt one of the best hostels we've ever stayed at. Highly recommended.

A beautiful bed and breakfast in Samaipata in a heritage building. The owner Lina is lovely - in addition to always looking like a movie star she is so helpful and accommodating. She prepared an excellent breakfast every day as well!

A lovely warm comfortable place, exceptionally clean. A hospitable and very pleasant host, who is a native speaker of French, yet with excellent Spanish and English. We enjoyed communication with her very much. The flowers, the kitchen and the garden on the territory are lovely. The location is fantastic too. We would highly recommend this casa, especially considering such great value and very comfortable price :). It's a pity we had little time to enjoy this place, because we had a very short stop, sadly. WiFi was fast enough for video calls! Internet was even better outside in the garden, but it was just fine in the room, in the area closer to the door :)

Its a walk up from the town, but you are rewarded with peace, quite and lovely views. You can go walking directly from the Hostel for miles and miles. We stayed in a private room, which was just fine. Samaipata is about three hours from Santa Cruz - Bert arranged for Elias, a friendly taxi driver, to pick us up from Santa Cruz and take us back to the airportIanYoung couple

The only problem for us was that the bed was very small for two people. Also, it is a little outside of the center of town which requires some walking on dirt or muddy roads. On the other hand, it is very quiet.

A small complaint wld be that I did my laundry and perhaps in a moment of rush, the clothes came back smelling damp and also lost a piece of undergarment. However the owner didn’t charge me for it and I appreciated that gesture as acknowledgment of mistake and having great service. The owners are always available and accommodating, even helping me find another room when I had to extend whilst they were full.

Common area and kitchen are well equipped and they are very comfortable to hangout. Outside area has amazing view and hammocks. Owner is super friendly and helpful, he called the bus company for us (we don't speak Spanish). Breakfast is big and has fresh fruits and pancakes included. Also the hostel cats are really cute.
