This hotel is in the most fantastic place to go vist the woodland tree top walk, theres the funicular train just a minutes walk that takes you down into the town centre the hosts were very wellcoming breakfast was plentyfull and tasty tyipical of the area our room had great views and was very comfortable we will be looking to stay again on our next trip to the area.

I had a very good experience in this pension, even surpassing my expectations. The pension is an old building with a beautiful rustic entrance. The porche gallery offers a pretty view to the mountains. The engraved window in the entrance reminded me of these ye-olde taberns that you see in epic movies. The room was even better than it looked on the pictures. It has a desk, which for me was great because I had to work the first day. Good amount of plugs and good wifi connection. Bathroom and shower were great. The little details like a little mat for shoes, handkerchiefs on the bathroom, hair dryer, etc. It also has a nice balcony . Host was super nice. I had the pension breakfast one of the days. It was pretty abundant and they have this breakfast room that is nicely decorated, with windows to the nearby streets. Check-in and check-out without problems. Totally recommended and I would totally come back if I get the chance to visit that wonderful town.

Easy to find, we slept there during our last day of our bike tour of the panorama schwarzwald. The people were friendly. It was comfortable and cosy and we had a great rest. The cakes we buyod at the café were delicious.

The owner was exceptionally friendly and offered to open the kitchen for us, even though we'd arrived late. After a long day of driving it was definitely highly appreciated. They also arranged some vegan friendly alternatives at breakfast, after we'd given a heads up during the booking process. It was not cheap, but definitely worth the price.

I wanted to stay an extra 5 days, because. Breakfast amazing. Room clean, quiet , really nice people. Charming. Great balcony. Great views. Even has 3 English TV channels plus. Friendly helpful staff. Great price. Best value in Germany in my month Traveling in Germany. Owner gave me hiking suggestions. And the free bus-tram ticket allows one to go everywhere free!
