The location in the countryside was easily accessible by road, was very quiet especially overnight. the accommodation was beautifully clean with exceptional amount of space in the suite with the garden view. Jean-Francois the host was very friendly and helpful, he provided a substantial breakfast. If I was ever to visit the area again, I would certainly stay here and recommend the property.

We had a wonderful stay at des Grotteaux. The Chateau and grounds are magnificent. Gael and Cecile are gracious hosts and made some excellent suggestions regarding places to see and nearby restaurants. The Chateau is well situated for visits to Cheverny and Chambord with other Chateaus within easy driving distance. We would highly recommend des Grotteaux to any of our friends who are planning a visit to the Loire Valley.

Isobell and herve were delightful hosts.. always giving information about local attractions and sightseeing spots..advising us on where to go.. They made our two dogs very welcome and were a pleasure to talk to.. isobell made nearly all our breakfast from local products from her garden and larder..home made cakes, jams and yogurt. we would definitely recommend..
