Au Pied Des Baous is so wonderful! It is conveniently located near historical hot spots, downtown Vence, museums, and more! You can visit Grasse, Gourdon, and Cannes in just one day. We loved that we could always come back to such a peaceful place. Breakfast was delightful! Fabienne prepared her very own marmalade and breads. She also provided a basket of local pastries and prepared fruit every morning. The room and property were clean and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts! We would highly recommend Fabienne and Sacha’s hospitality.

Breathtaking location, beautiful garden, very comfortable bed, great breakfast. Even the soaps are from local Provence perfumeries which was fun. Julien runs the show perfectly and is very hospitable, considerate and communicative

This place is an art-centric gem in the heart of historic Vence. Loved the atmosphere, the amazing croissants for breakfast, and the large comfortable and tastefully appointed rooms. Location is outstanding- literally steps from the old city and the main square with great shops and restaurants nearby. The owners/proprietors - Thierry and Antoinne were always available, helpful with great suggestions about restaurants, places to visit, transport, etc. The shower was strong (dual heads), Fragonard toiletries provided, and a dressing area to hang things (plus a safe and small fridge - though no coffee machine, although a kettle plus instant coffee). Living area with large chaise to sit on and plan your day (or recharge). Charging cube to plug in your electronics / cables.
Le Jardin D'Elma

Without exaggerating, we can honestly say that staying 2 nights at this lovely B&B was a real highlight of our trip to Vence, a charming village close to St. Paul de Vence on the French Riviera. The Jardin D'Elma is tucked into a small side street within a few steps of the entrance to the old town. We arrived the day of Halloween and the town was buzzing with families in costume celebrating on the nearby garden square. Our wonderful hosts, Laurence (a female name in France) and Eric, were extremely kind and caring in every way. We felt like guests in their lovely home, which includes a small indoor pool with a Jacuzzi. It was the perfect place to relax after hiking the hills surrounding Vence and seeing the glittery towns of Nice and Cannes in the distance. If you chose to stay here and travel by car as we did, please note that there are 3 parking lots in walking distance from the B&B. It is also possible to stop and drop off your bags before going to the parking lot. In addition to the excellent breakfast offered by Laurence and Eric (French breads, fruit, crepes, fresh OJ, etc.), the table is surrounded by a library of excellent books (mostly in French). The free underground parking is a huge bonus ! Most of all the staff. Like all the reviews on here say, the staff are all exceptionally polite and helpful - very old school- which is a refreshing change! Toiletries in the bathroom and everything is very very clean. Oh and an amazing deep swimming pool, again very well kept and clean and considering this is the middle of August, the whole hotel was sooo quiet.
