A 25-minute drive from Dorchester and Blandford Forum, The Fox Inn is a pretty inn in the Dorset countryside. This dog-friendly property has free parking and WiFi, and a full English breakfast is served in the garden room.

We just used the Fox Inn as a transit hotel for a single night, but started to genuinely regret this when we arrived. The place is beautiful and incredibly charming and the staff stayed up longer to allow us to check in late. Absolutely brilliant management and beautiful place in the middle of nowhere.

William and Linny were exceptional hosts. Although it was a bit further out in the country than I orginally thought, it was in a beautiful village with charming cottages nearby. The chalets were amazingly peaceful and clean with everything you needed.

we loved everything about this wonderful character-filled thatch-roofed pub built back in the 1700’s. Our room was in the main building and was full of charm. The food here is wonderful - both dinner and the full breakfast offered. Staff were warm and welcoming and they have parking onsite too. The location is very remote in a tiny tiny village which is just what we wanted. Exceeded our expectations and what a great finale to our 10 week stay in the UK. thankyou

Clean, quaint, quiet, pretty, really nice staff and lovely breakfasy in the morning. Accidentally booked a room with a double bed instead of twin beds and staff happily and quickly changed our rooms and made up twin beds for us.

Fabulous location. Lovely and quiet but most of all the family and the surroundings were charming. I hope to sample one of Alex's 'popup' dinners sometime as his full English breakfast was delicious.
