I like the private door access to the room, meaning I didn't have to walk through the pub everytime. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I turned up a few hours before check in and with 20 minutes my room was ready and available. The food was excellent, the location was great. Only a few minute walk to the resivior. Stunning views and very peaceful.

What an exceptional cottage with an equally great host! Very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! In a great location, has easy parking and a much appreciated welcoming gift set on arrival! Surrounded by beautiful views and walks with a country pub serving good food around 5 minutes walk away. Really enjoyed having the cosy log fire in the cottage. The attention to detail from this host is above and beyond! Cannot praise this experience enough! Hope to return soon!

The cottage was very comfortable, cosy and clean. There was everything we needed during our stay. The welcome gifts were just lovely, and so were the Christmas decorations. All the details such as bathrobes, slippers, blankets and toiletries supplied were charming. The aga range cooker blew my mind. As soon as we walked in, we felt a homely atmosphere espectaly when we lit the fireplace. Even though the weather wasn't good, we had a fantastic time.

Lovely staff, great location, green attitude with fresh milk in the room (no UHT cartons). Very quiet overnight too. The food is average for that kind of property but fairly priced, and it was a hearty breakfast in the morning.

Room lovely and quiet, bed soft and comfortable, coat hangers and a rail were very useful for airing the walking clothes, plus kettle, and tea bags are a bonus in the room for that early cup of tea. I liked the use of proper milk instead of those single use plastic pots, very environmentally conscious. Great location for walks in the hills, no need for a car, staff were friendly and helpful,
