ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. A VERY QUIET PLACE TO STAY WITH GREAT SCENERY. HAVING BREAKFAST IN THE CONSERVERTORY WATCHING THE BIRDS ANS SQUIRRELS WAS A TREAT. OUR HOSTS COULD NOT DO ENOUGH FOR US. 6 PAGES OF DOWNLOADED PLACES TO GO SEE AND EAT WITH PHONE NUMBERS AND ADDRESSES. WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN THAT. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN HAD A GREAT TIME.

We had a brilliant time staying at Trenance house and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting. The room is clean and tidy with all Covid measures in place and decorated beautifully. You also have your own entrance to the property which makes it easily accessible and private. It’s a great location and a short drive to porthleven and other amazing locations. Lastly and most importantly the hosts Richard and Briony really made us feel welcome and made our trip that extra special, they were really friendly and helpful!

Our breakfasts were superb with a great choice of food from cereals , fruit ,yoghurts to full English cooked to perfection Liked having our own front door , meaning we could come and go at our leisure without disturbing fellow guests. Bernie and Dave were the perfect hosts they made us feel very welcome and were extremely easy to get on with. Our lodge room was large with everything you would expect it even had a fridge which was very handy ! Also having use use of the large garden with tables and chairs for our own use. Very peaceful spot and lovely to see cows in the morning and evening in the adjacent field.

Kate and Terry are lovely people that go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We arrived a bit late and Kate managed to get us a reservation in a nearby inn for dinner (which was very good, by the way, The Star Inn in Porkellis). We did not bring any rain clothes and on our one walk day it was pouring down. Kate let us borrow her own rain suit, which enabled us to keep to our plans. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked by Kate (pancakes, yum). Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

The owner is an amazing lady which makes you feel truly welcomed. Being a big morning eater, the breakfast was one of the best I ever had in a Bed and Breakfast. My day started with a full belly! The bed were very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The B&B is off the main road by about 300 metres, yet it was very quiet at night which was what I needed!

Good restaurants not far away by car. Our house had everything we needed. Breakfast in the Tearoom is the best! View, yummy food and hospitality. We are grateful for our stay and will reccomend Maxine's B&B to any friends who want to visit Cornwall.

Private garden and secure car parking next to the barn. It was nice to wake up with a tea and sit on the bench looking at the fields.
