Great property and location, Chris the owner met us and showed us to our room. Beautiful house, clean and comfortable rooms with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Tasty choice of breakfast, the Shakshuka is delicious. Property is within walking distance from Dolgellau centre, restaurants, shops and bars. Overall, Bryn Mair is a fantastic place to stay and we will definitely return.

The location was great and is in a charming village. The room is very clean and very big. A lovely bed and bathroom and a delightful tray of welcome goodies. Great coffee. Lots of cupboards. We defenitely would return. One of the best B&B's we ever stayed in although they don't serve breakfast, which is mentioned. We had dinner at the pub of the Torrent Walk Hotel which was absolutely divine. And a very good breakfast to start the day off at Y Sospan.

Beautiful quiet, peaceful setting. Comfortable, big and extremely clean room. Fresh tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival along with more facilities in our room. Lovely breakfast. In the mornings, guests can enjoy cooked breakfast with locally made chicken and herb sausages. Dishes are prepared without pork products.

Beautiful setting with views of the Mawddach estuary. Our room could not have been more beautiful or comfortable. The owner is a collector of incredible art and crafts from around the world and these artifacts are displayed in every room. The giant fish tank in the breakfast room is amazing! Sophie showed me newly hatched starfish. The two hostesses--Sophie and Marilyn--were absolutely fantastic. They love this place and are devoted to making guests comfortable. We enjoyed walking across the toll bridge to the King George Pub across the estuary for dinner--quite an adventure! Thank you to everybody for making this treasure available to us.

Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the outside seating area and the hot tub as it rained for the entire 2 nights we were there. We are going to return later in the year and hopefully take advantage of the external facilities of the shepherds hut.

Robes are available which was particularly useful when using the downstairs shower room. Plentiful hot water and electric heaters that were easy to adjust.
