Location was idyllic, views from the room and front of the farmhouse very stunning. Warmly greeted on arrival and made to feel at home right away. Room was perfect for needs, already knew that the bathroom was shared so that wasn't a problem. Offered excellent advice on local pubs and restaurants and drives out into the Lakes. Farmhouse advice was particularly handy as had to leave early on last morning. Thank you for a wonderful stay, will definitely return if back in the Southern Lakes.

Fantastic bed and breakfast in the epicentre of lovely Cartmel. Communication with Rachel prior to arrival was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, both the public areas and the room in which we stayed. The room, recently re-decorated, is as comfortable as it is beautiful. Modern bathroom, super comfrotable bed, tea kettle/espresso machine - who needs more?
