Perfect, value for money and location beats any of those big chain hotels/motels near the airport It is also super quiet. We could sleep with open windows!!! We stayed in several places during the 10 days preceding the Gateway Lodge. None of those could compare to the quality of the Lodge.

I contacted the owner, Tom as I had stupidly left my phone charger in the room and he very kindly and very quickly posted it back to me. I offered to reimburse all costs incurred but he has not asked me to do so. This to me speaks volumes of Tom, especially after several friends have told me how very unusual this is, as they have left often more valuable items in hotel rooms and never had them returned. The accommodation was also excellent value. Thank you Tom, very much appreciated.

Huge room and very comfortable king size bed were superb. The bathroom was also excellent - everything was spotlessly clean. The rooms in Eastfield have the use of a communal kitchen which was very useful. Communication about entering the property was also excellent

I was expecting a house style b&b to then find an extension of rooms along the garden was lovely and felt more private. Ian was a very charming and attentive host.
