Quiet location but close to the local town, which has pubs, a cafe, a shop, and a Dalek! Excellent for walks and industrial archaeology (lead mining).

The double room that I booked was nice and clean and had a lovely, cosy and homely feel to it, down to the beautiful decor. The ensuite bathroom was clean with a good working shower and lots of hot water. I also enjoyed the extra fridge and microwave facilities. The host was very friendly and accommodating and ensured that I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I enjoyed a very peaceful rest at this place.

The owner was very helpful, and in the breakfast room is useful reading matter about the area. It is also close to bus and rail links. In all, highly recommended.
