Carol was a a great hostess and kept us laughing. We enjoyed the location as well as the Lamb Inn where Carol recommended we eat. The room was comfortable and clean. Carol made us a delicious breakfast--the "smaller breakfast" was more than sufficient! It was also nice that there was ample room for free parking on site.

A 5-minute walk from Marple Rail Station, this Victorian guest house has a spacious garden and picturesque views of the town. Marple is known for its pretty canals and parks, and there are charming historical buildings to visit.

The lodge was extremely interesting. It was like stepping into a 1930s film, while having all the modern stuff you would expect. We were in room 1 which was ensuite. It was very large. The shower was strong and hot. We really enjoy the feel of the house. The owners of the property were friendly without overdoing it. The breakfast room had an excellent view of the hills. We also sat in the garden and enjoyed the view. The breakfast was very nice. There was a very good select of choices. We loved the house look and the layout of the house. We came to do some walks and were able to access the canal, aqueduct, etc.

Lovely quiet little cottage in a great location. Although the annex is part of the farmhouse it is very private and peaceful, and feels quite separate. Very friendly helpful hosts who let us house our bike in their barn. Lovely comfortable bed and bedroom, really good shower, good facilities throughout, cosy sitting room and kitchen, everything you need for a comfortable stay in a beautiful area.
